CAA + ACLA

In 2022, the 23rd Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA) General Assembly and award ceremony was hosted by the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects (TTIA) in Port of Spain. ACLA submitted a nomination for the CAA Robert Matthew Lifetime Achievement Award for architectural advancements in the Commonwealth, focusing on regional impacts.

Establishing the art direction and developing the design concept for these art boards involved effectively illustrating the extensive historical timeline of ACLA and its profound influence on Trinidad and Tobago's architectural advancements. Additionally, the project sought to highlight the exceptional works and vision of the firm's founder, Anthony C. Lewis. The submission highlighted A. C. Lewis' pivotal role as one of the founding members of the Association of Commonwealth Architects. He was also essential in establishing the Trinidad and Tobago Society of Architects (TTSA), now known as the TTIA and served as president.
